I'd like to take a moment to pay tribute to our two-year anniversary which was yesterday. You know the phrase from Buzz Light Year, "To Infinity...& Beyond!" It reminds me of embarking on marriage because it's a journey that will go forever and then some! Two years is hardly anything, but it feels like a lot because I already know this journey lasts forever. I'm so grateful for the covenant (commitment) that Brian and I have made together and am blessed to know that it will go to infinity and beyond! I love the thought of that.I also love to brag about Brian. I feel this to be an appropriate occasion to do so. :) He is first of all a joy to be with. I love to see him each day and laugh and play and tease each other. He compliments me freely and generously and is always grateful for the things I do for him. He likewise finds ways to "treat me" by playing Scrabble (which he dislikes) or by giving me a good back rub. I like to give him big hugs and be beside him at night. I like it when he smiles at me and says I'm a "stink." It's fun to flirt with him. He's good at being the caretaker of the family and makes me feel secure. I like that he's adventurous, too. He's very talented and can fix things or figure out things and doesn't give up while trying. He's got a logical way of thinking and I like the way we can discuss things together and make decisions. We have a solid and happy marriage and I don't think there's anything better in life!
