As most of you should know, I have my degree in Graphic Design. Back in school, we bought this lovely Mac and the Creative Suite package to go with my degree. My intentions after school and after leaving my 2 design jobs in Rexburg were to do some free lance from home as I raised kids. Nice arrangement, eh? Well, it takes a little more effort to look for work than I've put into it. In fact, I've hardly been motivated to look at all since I'm so comfortable just doing the mommy thing.
It so happens to be that Brian went to a career fair featuring new start-up companies in the area, looking for mechanical engineering openings, but found an overwhelmingly amount of graphic design opportunities in stead. This means lots of identity design... my favorite! I've decided to finally buy myself a portfolio to stash my work and get it ready for an interview (if there be one in the future). I'm excited because I pretty much have all the pages designed, they just need refining. I'm hoping I can do some short-term work for someone and work from home. Ideal, right? We'll see what happens!
