What are my thoughts after being married for three years? We're a couple kids enjoying our lives together. That's what I think. It's thrilling to still be two individuals that play off one another. At the same time, I look forward to each new year that brings us tighter as a single unit. I'm still much of a child and am learning that I'm not as important as us.
With that said, I think we have a great relationship- fun, wholesome, and healthy! We are both very happy kids. I love that we have common interests and help each other explore other interests (Brian will dance with me, and I will pick up a book for pleasure if Brian lures me away from the computer). We enjoy each other's company and don't find much to disagree about. It's great to see each other at the end of the day and spend lazy mornings together, too. I have to thank Avery for making these simple pleasures possible. She's a good go-with-the-flow baby; not high demand. We've lucked out for sure.
In the infant stage of our marriage, I'd say we're doing pretty good! I welcome the start of our fourth year together and say,
"here's to us, babe!"
{and we'll celebrate with linguini and scallops!}
