Eleven Months Old

T
here's that pretty little girl. Eleven months old today! I usually never put her in jeans because the ones she has are all pretty tight at the waist. Plus she doesn't seem like a jeans girl. However, with her crawling increasing, she needs tough pants that can get dirty. I hate to see her cute pink pants get dirty or worn around the knees. I am in the process of making her some jeans myself.

I'm proud that she's learned how to put things into her toy wagon, rather than just take out. I tried to teach her that a long time ago, but she will do it in her own time and on her own. She is her own motivator when it comes to learning things, but she is good at it.

She has fine motor skills with her fingers and loves to point and pick things up with her thumb and first finger. When Brian says, "Who's your daddy?" She will respond by pointing with a big smile! She also loves to coach Brian and I when we exercise in the morning. It's funny.

A few more tid bits: Avery is possessive of her crackers. Naughty girl! She still doesn't drink well from a sippy. Nursing is her only form of liquids. I finally got her to sleep all night without nursing for 3 nights in a row. I plan to keep it that way. She may wake up a couple times, but she has learned she must put herself back to sleep. She's a good learner.

Avery truly is a very good child and we think she's swell!

There's something about bath time and pictures.

What a cutie pie! I loved her squeals at the store today! It is amazing how time has flown and how quickly they learn. I was looking at old videos yesterday back when K could hardly hold her head up. Now they are doing things on purpose and showing us all that they know how to do! One month 'til Avery's birthday---thats just wild!
