Brush teeth

This was the video of the night. I think she's a pretty good beginner!

I was thinking today why Avery looks funny when she walks now. I'm so used to seeing her with her arms cocked in the air like she's holding onto invisible fingers (which is absolutely cute), but now she's learned she can release her arms and she doesn't know what to do with them! She'll swing them forward and backward (together) as she walks like she's bored, but not, (I've seen Briley do this) or she'll tuck her hands behind her back, sticking out her elbows like she's got her hands in her back pockets. It's very funny.

I never before thought it was cute when little kids were attached to their stuffed animals. Now I think it's adorable! It's cute watching Avery pull Coby along while she travels the house. She likes Sniffer and Teddy too. She gives Coby to me before I take her out of the crib, like she doesn't want him left behind. Cute.

Last thing: I love how Avery is learning better communication and even expanding her expressions. (I love her forlorn look. It's a common one.) Well today we were looking at the kids play outside through our window. Then I went to sit and pick up her toys. She crawled up to me, gestured to my arm and said "uh" as in "up" like a grunt... after I scooped her up, I almost didn't catch the next phrase, "ow-tie".... "Do you want 'outside'?" "yah" she says, very distinctly. I LOVE this development.... this stage is SO FUN! I couldn't help but indulge her with a trip outside.
