After the Rain

This picture could hardly capture how it felt to walk out into this after the rain. It's just the way the sky lit up in iridescence through the overlaying clouds. It was luminous and made me feel like I was in a place so wide and open-- more so than it had ever been before. Then the way the evening sun engulfed the whole mountainside and brought the vivid fall colors to life. The recently wetted earth only added to this display of God's most beautiful creations.
