Making roads. I love those sweet summer evenings- a perfect time to be outside!

 Avery working on her dive

We are at the pool almost every day! The girls did 2 sessions (4 weeks total) of swim lessons this year, too. All 3 kids love the water. Tristan was dunking himself by the end, saying, "Watch 'dis" every single time. He was able to play in the big pool with the girls as I watched closely. Avery can swim across the deep end and even tries doing laps. Aspen is still a fishy in the water but isn't ready for water deeper than her. We love the pool!!

Aspen and the posse at the pool

Pecos Mountains (unfortunately this trip was cut short after a long night, but we still managed a hike!)

Same as above. Never did make it to the waterfall we thought we were going towards, but had fun throwing rocks.

Same as above. So we went to the river to wade instead on our way out. Aspen was all up in that freezing water!

Avery's first ballet class (a week long summer workshop in White Rock with DALA). She was begging for it!

Much to Brian's chagrin, we inherited a trampoline!!! It is well loved and frequented by the kids and I'm so happy we have it! (Here it is with the sprinklers underneath)

Las Conchas trail with our neighbors Sandy & Gary, on a Wednesday morning

same as above

Outdoor pool at a hotel in ABQ (Aspen forgot her swimsuit so she's borrowing a few items from Tristan- haha!)

Brian's 32nd birthday with cinnamon rolls :)

Watching construction at the teen center by Ashley Pond

Harvesting our own apples as a family (using the 24-ft ladder)

...and making our own apple sauce! These girls were quite the team. Avery was a dedicated cranker. Aspen did great stuffing the apples down the hole (Tristan did some of both!)
