I thought I should post this before he turned 2 months! At one month (May 9), Tristan sleeps in about 3-hour increments at night. He's a fussy baby- more so than the girls were- but this is a typical phase and with that in mind, it is manageable. Poor guy has to get used to life. At least he typically doesn't stay up fussing in the night... just keeps his mama busy feeding him often. At birth he had notably long fingers, toes, legs & arms. He is keeping up his long length. (By the way, his circumcision was done with a new technique that requires like no care - awesome - and his foreskin was off within a week or two). Tristan is taking his time with milestones. While the girls seemed to be looking around quickly and gooing and smiling and wanting to stand on their legs and sitting in the bumbo early, Tristan thinks that is all nonsense. All in due time. He does, however, have remarkable hearing because you can tell when he is listening and will react to far-off noises. We did not have a well-check appointment at 1 month, but at a sick appointment at 1.5 months, he was about 10.5 lbs! He is a healthy growing baby (Despite the recent bronchitis he contracted from his mom!).
